Conceptual

Hi, parents!  We had a wonderful first week back and a great week of conceptual!  The hallway looks amazing and everyone is so excited about our year of science.  We began by learning what it means to be a scientist and the steps of the scientific method.  We also learned some important safety rules to follow during experiments.  We finished the week by doing two experiments while following the scientific method.  We tested which liquid would keep apples from browning and tried to see if anyone could fold a paper in half seven times.  Everyone had a great time!

Next week, we will delve into the world of animals.  We've got some fun stuff planned!
